OtterCore is a one-person software studio run by Michael. The focus is on small, native applications for desktop and mobile — tools that do one thing well, respect the user, and stay out of the way.

Most software today is built to extract — attention, data, lock-in. OtterCore is built around the opposite premise: apps that work offline, don't profile you, and keep working long after the company making them moves on.

Pricing is honest. Desktop and server tools come with a choice of monthly, yearly, or perpetual licensing — pick the model that fits how you work. Mobile apps follow the platforms' subscription conventions, with a perpetual buyout option for users who prefer to own. Custom client builds are a one-time project fee, with optional ongoing support available as a separate service.
