Agreement
By downloading or using VialMate, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What VialMate is
VialMate is a personal tracker for injectable medications, infusions, and peptides. It helps you log doses, manage vials, see trends, and share reports with your healthcare provider.
VialMate is a tracking tool. It is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for professional medical care. Dosing, scheduling, and clinical decisions must be made in consultation with a licensed practitioner who knows your full medical history. Do not rely on this app to make decisions about your treatment.
Account
VialMate has no account system. All data lives on your device (or, optionally, your private iCloud). There's no signup, no login, no password to recover.
Subscriptions
VialMate Pro is offered as three options:
- Monthly — $2.99 / month, auto-renewing.
- Yearly — $19.99 / year, auto-renewing.
- Lifetime — $49 one-time, no renewal.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of that period. You can cancel any time in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. We don't see your payment method. Refund requests go through Apple's standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Pro entitlements unlock the features listed on the in-app paywall: unlimited active medications, iCloud sync, all exports (PDF / CSV / JSON), Shotsy and backup data import, HealthKit lab record auto-import, and advanced Insights cards. The free tier retains the core medication tracker, basic Insights cards, manual lab entry, all reminder cadences, and basic Apple Health integration.
Your data, your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of medication, dose, and schedule information you enter.
- Backing up your data — Pro users can enable iCloud sync; everyone can export via Settings → Backup, import & export.
- Using VialMate in compliance with applicable laws and your healthcare provider's guidance.
No warranty
VialMate is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be free of bugs, errors, or interruptions. We don't guarantee any specific health outcomes from using it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither OtterCore, LLC nor any contributor to VialMate is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
Our total liability for any claim related to VialMate is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $50, whichever is less.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in this hosted version and the in-app Terms of Service view. The "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the developer's residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
